Eritreans and Norwegian friends celebrated Eritrean Independence Day with joy and determination of Eritrean case.

The Eritrean youth in Oslo showed a video clip about the successful 7th conference of YPFDJ in Norway. The spokes lady of the youth in Norway mentioned that; the conference was historical. Except countable individuals who opposed the conference the overwhelming Eritreans residing in Norway were behind the conference. Most of the financing of the conference is contributed from Eritreans residing in Norway. The Youth in Norway announced that there is going to be a massive demonstration of Eritreans residing in Oslo and it’s surrounding mid in June 2011 to show its solidarity with the Eritrean people in homeland and abroad.

The celebration was joy and the singers entertained to audience with energetic music’s. The singers were Wedi Sheka from Oslo, Wedi Shawish, Hasebella and Fitsum Alem.

Eritreans in Norway, they do it the best but silent.

Eritrea forecasted to be fastest growing economy in Horn

The annual publication of the IMF, World Economic Outlook, has forecasted the Eritrea economy to be the fastest growing in the Horn of Africa in 2012, registering a real GDP growth of 7.5 percent in the period. Released on April 17 the report indicates that Eritrea’s growth would be driven by strong mineral export, agricultural output and infrastructural development.

The forecast also shows that the GDP growth of the neighbouring Ethiopia would be 5 percent for the period in question, a decline from the 7.5 percent of 2011.

The report further anticipates the consumer price index in Eritrea to go down to 12.3 percent in the year from 13 percent from in 2011. The data also shows that the real GDP growth for the year 2013 will continue at 3.4 percent but forecasts the country to actually experience negative real GDP growth of 3.2 percent for the year 2017. At the same time the forecast puts the figures for Ethiopia at 5.5 and 6.5 percent, respectively for 2012 and 2017.

According to the data of the Central Statistical Authority (CSA), the headline inflation for the month of April has gone down from its mid-thirties figure of the past couple of months to 29.8. According to CSA, the decline is marked by the major price change in the food basket of the consumer price index due to high agricultural harvest recorded in the year.

On the other hand, regionally, the report said Sudan's economy has shown a decline of 3.9 percent last year while it was also expected to continue the decline and do it big 2012, which is to decelerate by -7.3 percent. Following the secession of South Sudan, a major shock to Sudan’s oil revenue and recurrent conflict with its southern neighbour is said to be hurting the one strong economy of the Horn.

South Boulder Mines: new high grade potash zone discovered at Colluli
in Eritrea

South Boulder Mines (ASX: STB) continues to deliver a positive
newsflow from the Colluli Potash Project in Eritrea, with the latest
instalment a new high grade potash zone.

This discovery comes just a week after the resource almost doubled to
1.08 billion tonnes at 18% KCl for 194 million tonnes of potash, and
bodes well for future resource upgrades.

The combination of the shallow nature of this additional
mineralisation, and the high-grade and strategic location, means it
has strong potential to boost Collulis economics, particularly in the
early phase of the project.

The latest discoveries come from resource extension diamond drilling
in between two existing resource zones at the project, with South
Boulder saying that there is clear potential for potash to be largely
continuous between the existing resources - which will be further
tested.

New discovery highlights include:

- 5.09 metres of high-grade sylvinite from 100.34 metres (within a
total 15.86 metres potash interval);

- 6.12 metres of sylvinite from 68.34 metres, including 2.93 metres
of high-grade sylvinite from 70.17 metres (within a total 16.12
metres potash interval);

- 2.93 metres of high-grade sylvinite from 88.49 metres in between
Area A and B (within a total 13.34 metres potash interval); and

- 2.02 metres of high-grade sylvinite from 53.89 metres in between
Area A and B (within a total 16.17 metres potash interval).

Lorry Hughes, managing director, said the new sylvinite drilling
results show excellent correlation with previous drilling and has the
potential to further improve the economics of the project.

"The new discovery is likely to make a material improvement to the
already-robust Stage 1 production schedule and mining costs of the
worlds first open pit potash mine.

"The shallow depth of the resource is the key difference between
Colluli and other potash resources currently being mined. Most
existing mine production is from depths of greater than 500m and to
depths of up to 1,500m below surface.

"We expect to convert a large portion of our resources to mineable
reserves because we can utilise open pit mining as opposed to low-
conversion underground or solution-mining methods."

Highly attractive pre-tax NPV

An engineering Scoping Study completed in November 2011 demonstrated
a pre-tax NPV of US$1.33 billion with start-up capital costs of US
$0.74 billion.

This study was based on Stage 1 production of 1 million tonne of KCl
annually from the potash mineral cylvite, a zone which represents
only a small part of the overall deposit. The study investigated a
17-year open pit operation and forecast an internal rate of return of
40.6%.

As an indication of the growth potential of Stage 1, the study only
included around 16% of the potash contained within the previous
October 2011 resource estimate.

Studies are currently underway to incorporate additional zones of
potassium minerals to further enhance the overall commercial outcomes.

Eritrean PR to Address Sanctions Committee

Tomorrow afternoon (18 April) the Council’s Sanctions Committee for Somalia and Eritrea (751 and 1907 Committee) is scheduled to hear from the Eritrean permanent representative Araya Desta. It appears that Desta was invited to meet with the Committee as members are interested in Eritrea’s perspective on some of the issues discussed at the Monitoring Group’s mid-term briefing last month. It is unclear if Desta will focus simply on the issues arising from the Monitoring Group’s report or if he will want to discuss some of the broader issues affecting Ethiopia and Eritrea (to which Eritrea would like the Council to pay more attention).

Since the Council first imposed sanctions against it on 23 December 2009 (S/RES/1907), Eritrea has repeatedly refuted the findings of the Monitoring Group and requested the sanctions to be lifted. On 5 December 2011, the Council adopted another resolution on Eritrea (S/RES/2023) which condemned Eritrea’s violations of previous Council resolutions and called on it to cease all efforts to destabilise other states in the region. It also imposed new measures to prevent it from using the diaspora tax or revenues from its mining sector. Since then, Eritrea has written a series of letters (e.g. S/2011/792; S/2012/126) to the Council protesting the sanctions against it and calling for the establishment of "an independent, impartial and credible body" in place of the Monitoring Group which it claimed lacked independence and impartiality.

In its letters, Eritrea has also consistently accused the Council of being one-sided in its approach. More specifically, it has repeatedly called on the Council to address the unresolved border dispute with Ethiopia and ensure respect for the final and binding arbitral ruling of the Ethiopia-Eritrea Border Commission (EEBC). It has also accused Ethiopia of flaunting international law and the UN Charter by occupying part of its territory. Eritrea has been particularly critical of the role played by the US in the region, accusing it of obstructing the implementation of the EEBC’s ruling.

For its part, Ethiopia—in a letter to the Council on 18 January (S/2012/44)— accused Eritrea of being responsible for a "terrorist attack" against a group of 22 tourists travelling in the Ethiopian state of Afar, in which five people were killed. It called on the international community to take responsibility for stopping such activities. In response, Eritrea wrote to the Council (S/2012/57) denying any involvement in the attack and urging the Council to "ensure Ethiopia’s prompt compliance with its treaty obligations and to respect international law."

Ethiopia’s 15 March incursion into Eritrean territory prompted another round of letters to the Council from both sides. Ethiopia wrote a letter on 14 March invoking its right to self-defence (S/2012/158) while Eritrea, on 16 March, called on the Council "to shoulder its legal and moral responsibilities" and take "appropriate measures to rectify acts of aggression" against Eritrea (S/2012/164). Then, on 27 March, Eritrea directly accused the US of being responsible for illegal attacks against it and requested the Council "to form an independent, transparent and accountable inquiry body" to investigate this claim (S/2012/181).While in the past Eritrea’s position has found little sympathy among Council members, it is unclear whether the change in the Council’s composition this year will in any way impact the Council’s approach.

Eritrean organizations in Oslo have difficulty in acquiring houses. The main reason is financial constraints. This time Eritrean women’s association in Oslo managed to have one house for all other organizations to use it side by side. The local capacity is to its maximum can accommodate about 60 persons. For small meetings and arrangements it fits well as its rent is very cheap.

USA er ett land som har alle verdenes makt å angreps andre land som er ikke enig med sitt strategisk interesse. Cuba er ett land som har lidte så mye på grunn av mot strid med USAs strategisk interesse. Den tidligere Sovjet Unionen ble splitt til fragmenter på grunn av mot strid med USAs strategisk interesse. Irak og Afghanistan ble levende helvete i verden på grunn av mot strid med USAs strategisk interesse. Somali forandret fra ett land for sitt folk til et sted av USAs eksperiment for Dronen utøving. Etiopia ble fra land av stolt Etiopiere til ett land som bjeffer som hund til Eritrea fra USAs ordre. Nesten mer enn 200 million befolkning i verden er kvelende på grunn av strategisk interesse av USA.

Det som er tragisk med strategisk interesse av USA er den tar ikke hensyn dignitet, livdsopphold, sikkerhet og daglig normale liv av andres befolkning. Uansett av den ødeleggelse påfører til andres befolkning må USAs strategisk interesse fullføres på noen kostnader av de andre lands befolkning.

Eritrea er ett små land bare ikke mer enn 5 millioner befolkning. På grunn av lang krig for sitt frihet fra Etiopia ble det landet fattig. Først og fremst er det USAs strategisk interesse som ført krigen mellom Etiopia og Eritrea. Det som er ikke forstålig er hvorfor USA prøver ikke fullføres sitt strategisk interesse på rød havet på harmonisk møte med Eritrea. Hvorfor trenger USA å uydmyke og føre lidelser til den Eritreisk befolkning på grunn av sitt strategisk interesse på rød havet. Eritrea befolkning er fredlig og er ikke mot USAs interesse på rød havet. Eritrea respekteres internasjonalt lover på rød havet. Eritrea tillater ikke noen som helst makter å blir virkende krefter mot USA på rød havet.

Eritrea ville å blir selvstandig og ett fri land i dette verden. Eritrea vil ikke akseptere å blir leketøy for supermaktene. Eritrea inviteres for lik verdi for å gi og ta business. Eritrea er forberedt for fredlig forhandling med alle som er interessert å gjøre dette verden vakkert. Eritrea vet hva lik verdi betyr i dette verden. Ett ensete land i Afrika som ikke aksepteres lav verdi enn supermaktene er Eritrea. På grunn av dette lik verdig krav fra Eritrea, er det USA som jobber nå å knekke Eritrea. Eritrea vil ikke gi opp.

Det er åpenbart at de fleste av Eritreisk befolkning samt sitt ledelse liker den USAs og Europisk befolkning men ikke for de eliteisk ledelse som er bare etter sitt eget strategisk interesse. Forfatteren av dette artikkel støtter Eritrea blir ett nøytralt land som respekteres strategisk interesse av Israel og Arabisk landene spesielt og hele verdenes samfunnet generelt. Forfatteren vil gjerne se godt forhold mellom USA og Eritrea. Forfatteren mener at ett godt forhold mellom USA og Eritrea fører for stabilitet og god samarbeid mellom landene i horn av Afrika. Etiopia og Eritrea kan leve fredlig bare hvis det befinner seg ett godt forhold mellom USA og Eritrea.

USA og Europa er de fremst land som talsmann for ytterlig frihet av tale. De er som banker andre lands inngang for frihet av tale. Dem jo snakker mye egentlig for mye den styggeste tale av andres land situasjoner. CNN, ABC, REUTER, BBC, NRK, VG og andre masse mediene viser og snakker mye rart av Eritrea. Det var ikke lenge Eritrea fått sjansen å vise og snakke sitt meninger på satellitt TV. USA og Etiopia jobber hard for stenge denne eneste muligheten av Eritreas ytterlig frihet av tale. Hvorfor er de gigantisk landene redd av Eritrea. Egentlig spørsmålet skulle formuleres på nytt hvorfor er Elefanter redd av musa?.

Etiopia bruker sine russers for å svarte Eritrea

Alle galt som skjer i Etiopia enten sult katastrofe som er naturlig og kidnapping, krig, og andre dårlig situasjoner må finns et land for å klage på og det er Eritrea.

Nå skal det blir nesten 70 år siden Etiopia overdriver svarting av Eritrea for sitt eget mål. I begynnelsen av 1940 tallet anklaget Etiopia til Eritrea for den aggresjon den fascistisk Italia drevet mot Etiopia. I den tida sa Etiopia ” Italia angrepet Etiopia gjennom Eritrea”. På grunn av dette anklage av Etiopia mot Eritrea og sammentreff av den så kalt strategisk interesse av USA i rødhavet ble det bestemt av FN å innlemme Eritrea med Etiopia.

Eritrea har ingen ambisjoner at turister skal angreps. Eritrea jobber hard å gjøre horn av Afrika ett turist attraksjon. Eritrea bygger veier, moderen hoteller og eksotisk steder for at turister skal kom til horn av Afrika. Det er mot Eritreas interesse at turister skal angreps i horn Afrika. Hvorfor er det da Etiopia anklages Eritrea for den nåværende situasjoner som skjedde i Afar regionen av Etiopia?

For å studere retningen hva Etiopia driver mot Eritrea gå gjennom nøye med de eksemplene gitt her.

Eksempel 1:

30. august, 2011 på Wikileaks etiketterte "hemmelig" telegram fra U.S. Embassy i Addis Ababa offentliggjort 6. oktober, 2006. Beskjeden er blitt sendt til U.S. State Department, USCE... USCENTCOMS hovedkvarter, IGAD, CIA, CJTF, DIA, og NSC. Anmeldelsen (Referanse ID 06ADDISABABA2708) henviste til en serie av tre planla terrorangrep 16. september 2006 i hovedstaden Etiopia, de eritreiske myndighederansvarlige for sikkerheten og Oromo-motstanden laget.

Innhold av hemmelighetsavsendingen:

Mediene rapporterte at den etiopiske intelligensen The National Intelligence og... Sikkerhetstjeneste (NISS) krevde sammen med den antiterroren spesialstyrke av forbundspolitiet at bombene som en del av et sideordnet terrorangrep på Oromo Liberation Front (OLF), den eldste nasjonale frihetsbevegelse i Etiopia, og Shaabiyaen (Eritrea) ble brukt for å bryte av den demokratiske prosessen. I de - mislykkede - angrepene i Kara Kore-distrikt ble tre selvmordbombemann drept. Bomberne var eksplodert forhastet i forberedelsen i en illegalt konstruerte bygninger og to av mennene død i eksplosjonen, tredje noe senere i sykehuset, løslatelsen av sikkerhetsmyndighetene.

I avsendingen av rapporten av en meddeler og ble hemmelige beskjeder av beskjedkilden sitert som det å bebreide sikkerhetsstyrkene av Regering af Etiopia attentatet.

20. september 2006 kontaktet Dr. Merera Gudina, forhenværende leder av Ambassaden av ONC. Mennene var blitt samlet opp en uke tidligere av politi og anholdt. Politiet ville ha brakt dem i huset og løftet nær sprengstoffene. Det forble uklart, om mennene tilhørte ONC ... eller OLF.

Eksempel 2:

Den påstanden om at Eritrea ville destabilisere regionen relaterer hovedsakelig til den anklagen at Eritrea støttet Islamist Al-Shabab-militsen i Somalia med penger og våpen.

Det mest nylige anklageakoountingen for FN-sanksjoner imot Eritrea - ble i sted foreslått til riket av fabler:

I siste november år Eritrea ble anklaget for å levere våpen til Kenya Al Shabab. Tre fly fulle av våpen ble sagt til det å være landet i byen Baidoa.

Den "UN Monitoring Group on Somalia", kunne ikke bevise dette, og i sted rapporterte at slike flyvninger har foregått og "ukorrekt" påstanden ...

Eksempel 3:

grensedisputten.

Kjensgjerningen er disse relasjonene mellom Etiopia og Eritrea er blitt belastet av denne pågående grensedisputten - kritikken på hvilken er imidlertid bare til Etiopia.

Fordi det for denne grensedisputten er en løsning på bordet siden 2000. Avsa kjennelse International Court i Haag om emnet av grensedisputter til en voldgift har de to sidene på forhånd offisielt gjenkjent innen rammen av Alger fredsavtalen som sluttkamp og å binde.

Men Etiopia avviste å implementere fredsavtalen, illegalt okkuperende Eritreiske territorier og å true krig, når det virker politisk formålstjenlig innvendig.

Når USA planlegges noen onde mot Eritrea, er det først og fremste som kollaboreres med USA er Etiopia. Den andre land er Kenya. Som alle vet nå, ble det sagt av Kenya akkurat før bestemmelsen av sanksjoner i FN mot Eritrea at Eritrea levert 3 fly fullt med våpen til alshebab. Dette anklage av Kenya mot Eritrea ble brukt som bevis slik at USA brukt som unnskyldning for å knelende Eritrea. Etter sanksjoner er festet mot Eritrea ble det sagt at den anklage av Kenya mot Eritrea er falsk. Se her hvilken spill USA bruker mot Eritrea. De landene som Etiopia og Kenya er bare som leketøy for USA.

Eritrea vil ikke få fred før USA fullføres sitt strategisk interesse i rødhavet. Akkurat når Etiopia sendes falsk anklage mot Eritrea ble det de andre kilder som VG, NRK og andre massemedier begynte å spre den fullfart. Dem gjøre det bare av ordre fra USA. Man kan jo overraske hvordan nyhetene er synkronisert og formulert.

Paul Henze is neither honest intellectual nor historian, but a miscarried CIA contact and propagandist of Ethiopia, who operated as chief adviser for the alternating Leaders of that nation.

He was by far the worst enemy of Eritrean sovereignty who has singlehandedly lobbied and campaigned aggressively in the USA. He planted a cancerous anti Eritrea seed for the duration of the armed struggle.

Paul Henze was a mentor to Ethiopian "intellectuals” more than he was an adviser to USA policy makers. He has written many Books on Ethiopia [his version of Ethiopia] made hundreds of lectures and interviews to newspapers and internet Bloggers; he has toured various countries – to lobby for Ethiopia; No Ethiopian intellectual can much what he has done to damage sovereign Eritrea.

Nevertheless, all his three decades conspiracy was flashed down to the toilet, when Eritreans under the leadership of the EPLF repealed the invading Ethiopia army by pushing it back to its capital – Addis Ababa.

Paul Henze interviewed Meles for five hours on their preliminary contact in Washington D.C. on April 3, 1990, just before the TPLF forces entered Addis Ababa. About his Marxist back ground; his relation with EPLF; his stands on Eritrean independence; his personal relation with president Esayas Afewerki of Eritrea and his prospect of post Eritrean independence etc…. a kind of background check before he meets US officials and lawmakers to plea for recognition and some help. In this interview, Paul rubs – in about land to Meles, he wanted to know his stand on commercial farming and foreign capital investment on farm land, setting him up – for the controversial massive fertile land grab by foreign countries in Ethiopia. That recently enticed a global uproar.

Paul Henze defies logic with his ridicules narrow minded anti Eritrea propaganda he tried to rewrite history with his lies. He was very sensitive; he gets upset whenever his act of defamation of Eritrea is exposed. He can’t stand any positive coverage of Eritrean history particularly through the western media, he gets nervous. He makes sure nobody write or speak the truth about Eritrea, mainly in the USA and in the West.

Here are sample excerpts of his many works, how his weird idea of Eritrean war for liberation and his behind the seen futile spin before the court’s decision on the border conflict.

"Nonetheless, there are a few large non-facts that deserve to be disposed of. Chief among these is the supposed thirty-year struggle for Eritrean liberation from Ethiopian rule. It is this idea which fueled a marked bias for Eritrea in the leading media, including such highly responsible newspapers as the Wall Street Journal and Washington Post in the U.S. and the Economist in Britain. This is a revelation how notoriously he was engaged in disinformation campaign at the inception of the Eritrean struggle: to ridicule, frustrate and attack it. It is a kind of clue where the leaders of that country were getting ideas from. Religion has been used to get sympathy from the west and Israelis for expansionist Ethiopia. It was also used as weapon to create ethnic strife within Eritrea.

LNA. – Do you believe that serious tensions could happen on the northern border despite existing peace agreements and despite international mediation?

PH. –. Nowhere was Eritrean behavior worse than in the Irob region of northeastern Tigray. This Roman Catholic group is fiercely opposed to being given to Eritrea. If the international border commission were to decide that the region should belong to Eritrea–thus turning a population which wants to live in a democratizing society over to a failing police state – the Irob say they will rebel. Officials at the Foreign Ministry in Addis Ababa assured me they are confident that Ethiopia will not lose territory as a result of the border definition process. I hope they are right.

Here he is preempting the outcome by intimidating the leaders of that country, at the same time planting ridicules ideas that produced friction. This was his work order to Meles and the foreign minister, not to honor the border commissions ruling.
Thus every time Prime Minister Meles interviewed or asked about his reason to his rejection of the border commission’s ruling – his answer is a duplicate of Paul Henze statement.

When we connect the "dot” from the outset of Eritreans struggle for liberation, to present day, it is obvious who was cooking the anti -Eritrea propaganda book to the leaders of Expansionist Ethiopia.

Hence Haillesellase was using the religion card, to get Israeli’s and the west sympathy accusing Eritreans traditional relation with Arab neighbors. So was Mengestu.
Currently Meles zenawi in his last gasp was waving the terrorist card; to internationalize the border conflict by distorting Eritrea’s established relation with Somalia, in a grand disinformation campaign, with intention to stop Eritrea’s economic development; mainly the fast revenue generating natural resource. But He failed miserably to achieve that.

I posted his picture not to be cynical, but to remind where he started off. There is not wrong that Meles stood up for his people and fought to over throw the Fascist Derg. But what is wrong is for him to turn around and invade Somalia and Eritrea loot and kill their people who stood with him in time of his struggle, is not only immoral but crime against humanity.

He has admitted in his interview with Paul Henze that he has been using Somalia passport to travel to different countries, including the time of his interview in Washington DC. And logistic and other help from The E.P.L.F. the present Eritrean government.

Now he is out of every trick in the book- what is left for him is to observe the Algiers agreement and implement the commission’s border ruling, which has unanimous international endorsement including the UN. Otherwise his idea of bullying Eritrea is futile, besides Eritreans are not going to seat and take it forever.

Understandably Eritreans are frustrated about America’s wishy – washy attitude towards Eritrea regarding the conflict with expansionist Ethiopia, however, they shouldn’t be grumpy about it. U.S.A. was lied -to by these pseudo intellectuals and technocrats.

Instead stand – up to these Expansionist Ethiopia’s handlers and pseudo intellectuals who followed the foot step of Paul. Challenge them and expose their lie to America.
After all thanks to its martyred sons and daughters now Eritrea is a free nation that can defend and develop itself. You don’t have to worry about that, you must move on…. certainly Eritreans do not complain – they improvise. That is why the victories E.P.L.F was brought to the theater.

We are Americans Eritrean origin, settled here for good raised kids and grandkids. We are productive citizens who played by the rule; we have contributed to the welfare and security of this nation, Never the less we don’t have to forget the people and country we left behind, we have to make sure the expansionist Ethiopia invading army never threatens them again.

We didn’t come here to turn Africa into a "killing field” or to mock America; we rather prefer to be the bridge for peace and prosperity.

In its part The U.S.A. must temper its global ambition certainly in Africa. It should stop this notion of anchor and client nation, instead treat all small and big nations equally and recognize their autonomy. Bring back the "Point -4” dismantle the "N.G.O.” -it is a waste of the American Tax payer’s money. They are more into – "scouting” than developing,
